Question:

A:It's already in the system. This ev charger comes with a ground fault detection function. When a ground fault occurs, the device will stop working and report a fault.

Question:
Q:Can i hook this up to a solar panel system?
Answer:
A:The output of the solar panel system is direct current, the ev charger needs to be connected to alternating current, and the solar panel system is required to convert the direct current into alternating current, which will require an inverter device that converts direct current to alternating current.

Question:
Q:will this work on a 2021 jeep wrangler xe
Answer:
A:It should work just fine but it appears your vehicle can only handle 32 amps and this unit maxes out at 40 amps. This is not a problem you can either have unit run off a 40 amp breaker and draw a max of 32 amps or install it off a 50 amp breaker and throttle the unit down to 32 amps. I recommend setting it up off a 50 amp breaker in case you get a different vehicle with a bigger battery needing the full 40 amps of continuous power. It won't cost much more to install a 50 amp breaker than a 40 amp one. You just need a bigger breaker and some thicker wire

Question:
Q:How do you set it to charge at 40 amps? the app says operation failed when i try to set above 32 amps.
Answer:
A:For safety reasons, the default configuration is 32A. If you need to use higher power, you can update the App to version V1.5.1 and adjust the current to 40A according to the following guidelines:
1. Make sure that the mobile phone has a network, and then connect the App to the ev charger through Bluetooth.
2. Enter "Me"--"My Charger"--"Installation Mode", you can set the "User-Settable Max Current" to 40A.
3. Go back to "My Charger" and adjust the "Max Charge Current" to 40A.
If you have any problems about the product and App, you can contact us to get the best solution.

Question:
Q:The product information states that you can use an rfid card, but none were included with my purchase of the unit. how do i obtain and use?
Answer:
A:This Autel EV charger comes with a plug-and-charge setting from the manufacturer, and the packing list does not include the RFID card.
The RFID card needs to be purchased additionally, and it is already planned to be launched and you can use it after being bound in the Charge APP.
Probably our final upgrade to our charging station unless something groundbreaking happens.
We've gone thru a few chargers for our Chevy Bolt now, the first one was a portable Level 1, cheap 110V plug-in to the vehicle that took like 24 hours to charge from 10% to 100%, then upgraded to a no name Level 2 that we purchased on eBay, then to a Level 2 "Shell" Branded kit that worked pretty well, but nothing like this Autel Station, it is on par to Tesla's station and tops it on many features.
Installation:
Was rather simple, especially if you already have a charging station in place.
Drill anchors, mount bracket, pick the desired power connection (it has a variable voltage/amperage based on what you have available), and hang it up, the charging holster looks so cool!
Performance:
This is hands down the most customizable, adaptable, fastest charging station I've seen for home usage.
Goes 15% to 90% in about 3 hours for our 2020 Chevy Bolt using a 240V power source.
The 25 Ft Charging Cable is long enough to literally charge cars inside and outside the garage, and it feels sturdy and well built.
Smart Features:
Having access to data anywhere I go, checking charge level while cooking or watching TV by just looking at my smartphone is awesome, I don't have to go down to the garage to check charge level or range, I have that data anytime I have my smartphone within range.

Question:
Q:Does this charger allow for solar optimized charging (flexing power usage based on solar production, either through its app, or a 3rd party app?
Answer:
A:Autel MaxiCharger support external smart meters and CTs to monitor photovoltaic power generation, and flexibly adjust the charging power according to the remaining photovoltaic power generation. This function is expected to release supporting accessories from August to September, and will support three modes: pure green power mode (only when there is remaining photovoltaic capacity, charging will be started), fast charging mode (use photovoltaic capacity when there is remaining, use home power supply if there is no photovoltaic surplus), ALM mode (Adaptive Load Management, adaptive home load, the total charging power does not exceed the maximum power of the home, when the load of household appliances is high, reduce the power or stop charging, when the load is low, increase charging power).
