Solved: Autel MK808S/ MK808Z-BT/ MP808Z-TS No Storage to Update

Problem: My Autel MK808S prompted to upgrade, but it kept getting stuck in the interface and downloading over an hour. I got a warning:

"L'apparell ne disposant pas de sulfisamment d'espace de stockage pour installer I'application. Cliquez sur ok pour gerer I"

(The device does not have enough storage space to install the application. Click ok to manage it)

What's the problem? Is the memory full?





Similar Note

Insufficient space of internal memory. Please clean up space or insert a 16G-128G SD card. BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Peugeot software can be download to the SD card.

If the SD card is inserted but the system cannot recognize it, please check if:

1. SD card is damaged;
2. SD card file system is FAT32 format.



Reason

It was the lack of memory that caused the downloaded failure. To deal with no storage on Autel scanner, you'll require an external SD card to expand the memory.

Solution: 3 Steps to Expand Storage

1. Data Manager >> Uninstall Apps that are heavy(eg. BMW,GM, Benz,VW, etc.)





2. Insert a new SD card with FAT32 format.




3. Vehicle Management >> Click "Move" icon



After successfully moving the files, now we can continue to update.

The above steps also apply to most Autel scanners like MK808Z-BT, MP808Z-TS, etc.
