Q1: How to do after the one-year free update for MK908P / MS908P / MS908S PRO? Will it be locked?
A1: You can choose to buy a one-year update service from us. If not, it will not be locked, just some online functions will be limited. For example, online coding, partly Porsche oil reset is also needed to be online. For online coding, generally for VW.

Q2: is this machine capable of programming / initiating dodge abs modules?
A2: Some older models are plug and play but usually I use mine drew tech for stuff like that.

Q3: Does the ms908p have the TPMS diagnostic functions like activating TPMS sensors?
A3: Yes it does

Q4: Is there a difference between this item and the one that's being sold in the USA, as far as warranty and updates go?

A5: Hello, Maxisys pro can support offline programming in some ECUs of Ford vehicles. With J2534, you can subscribe to OEM software to do flashing programming or factory updates on this module.

Q6: Does this work with a 20 pins old Toyota it has software for old Toyota cars?
A6: It works on old Toyota cars but if you are planning to upgrade your car software then you will have to go to the Toyota dealer website and download the software from them to your Autel scanner and then install it on your car

Q7: I am considering purchasing the [May Sale] [US Ship] Autel MaxiCOM MK908P Full System Diagnostic with J2534 Update Online Support ECU Coding (Advanced Version Of MaxiSys MS908P) and need to know if the J2534 programming module comes with one year of support or do I need to buy the support to be able to program the modules in my BMW?

It is confusing because in the J2534 reprogramming capability section it states that both a laptop and OEM subscription are requirements and not included in this kit

Q8: Does it support Maclaren and Tesla?
A: No, it doesn't. For Maclaren, recommend Autel MaxiSys MS908S, MS908S pro, Elite, MS909, MS919, Ultra, Elite II.

This scanner can handle Dodge Ram Pro-Master diesel & gas, Ford F-550, 350 diesel, and F-150 gas, and smaller Ford Transit van, Toyota corolla. Even Freight liner tractors (diesel). I'm sure for other smaller vehicles this tool will work. Amazing tool scanner! It comes with different plug connectors for almost our entire fleet. On the window screen menu, it has a TPS menu for tires and tells you which tire sensor is bad w/a reset bottom. Engine & transmission error codes and tells you the exact problem. Diesel glow plugs, injectors which cylinder is not working properly. On the gas engine, tells you which spark plug missed firing or even sensor is bad. I haven't tried in my 2013 BMW X6 yet. I'm sure this scanner can scan that car as well. It comes w/ BMW adaptor. I highly recommend this tool scanner. If you have a few vehicles in your shop inventory and if you used this couple of times. It pays for itself already! A handy tool to have in your shop or home garage use.

So I’ve been working on cars for a few years and have used snap on tools hay are 10x the money and do half the functions that the DS808 does, it has any brand I can think of and more, tons of functions test, live data, and configurations of certain components when replaced. Great diagnosing tool. Never write reviews but decided to write one because I am impressed at the way this tool works and much more than what I was expecting would definitely buy another one or an upgraded version if I needed a second one

It got my attention because it has been designed to perform some of the most complicated engine diagnostics and reprogramming. After it arrived, I grabbed this tool to make the reprogramming in my BMW. I connected an external battery charger to the vehicle to ensure a successful operation in case of the failure if voltage fell below the proper operating voltage, and ab101, the bonus gift, did offer much help in the process. Anyway, it went well, and the reprogramming was successful.

For our garage, this Autel MS908P is definitely a powerful diagnostic tool. We were in the market for an advanced diagnostic tool that works on ECUs. Searched and consulted, Autel MS908P was on the list. Compared with other competitors, this MS908P is much more the one I needed. It came with a free battery tester, and the combination of the battery tester and the MS908P makes the vehicle diagnosis easier and more complete. Spending the same price, we got something better than similar things. Highly recommend.

Review 5:
Everything went smoothly. I have heard that some of these Autel devices are Chinese versions and they may not register correctly. This was a genuine US version and it registered. I have used this MS906 on a couple of cars and i am very impressed.
