I purchased this scanner for my own use. I am DYI'er and I have been having issues with my personal vehicle...I borrowed an AUTEL scanner from my mechanic at work but had to give it back (he hadn't purchased a new one yet) I was going to buy his old one. I have friends with trucks and will be assisting them with issues as well...I am very pleased with my MK908. I have been able to figure out some of the gremlins I have been fighting with in my truck. I am very pleased with my scanner and hope to use it for a long time to come.

If you notice I bought an Autel VCI100 to use with my MK908 vs that brick VCI that comes with it. I added a yellow bumper to it and a obd2 cable so I don’t leave it in a car. You can also use the VCI mini with it, you don’t have to use the black box VCI that came with it.
Ps the customer support that I received is bar none the best I’ve had in a while. Don't forget just because a seller is in China etc you can use WhatsApp to call and text them for support, it's not like you can't get in touch. The days of going to brick and motor stores are over anyway.

Scan tool is amazing does the same tests/functions other more expensive scan tools do, at a fraction of the cost. Works good on the vehicles I tried it on: Ford, Honda and Toyota. I has a wireless dongle so that you can continue to use the scan tool outside the vehicle to continue to see data or perform hot functions.

I had the maxisys 908 and it got stolen so I bought this one as its replacement and it’s a lot lighter and looks more heavy duty today I was able to communicate with a bcm in a Malibu where the gm mdi2 could not

As a professional mechanic, I was looking for a true do it all scan tool that will meet most all of the scenarios I will encounter. This so far has been a terrific scanner, very simple to setup and use, and has all the capability I was looking for. Can't go wrong with this one!

My techs love this MK908 it provides them with every bit of testing information that we need. When the customer picks up their vehicle we show them the Pre and Post scan report and explain everything to them THey seem to really appreciate the information and we consider it CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is an invaluable tool! Very easy to use and so far has done exactly what I purchased it for.
