Great service and product

I am a fan of DIY and I have already owned a number of diagnostic tools in my box. But now those tools fail to meet my demand as I want to do more diagnoses, not just reading and erasing diagnostic trouble codes. In other words, I need a higher-end tool for realizing my purpose. Hence I searched on the internet for some weeks to find a suitable one, and finally, this Autel MK808 turned out to be the best choice.

Effective and easy to use

I really like this scanner because is easy to manage. This is the first time I use this tool and I find that is very helpful. The Autel MaxiCOM MK808 It's amazing, make my life easier. I use the Autel MK808 for personal use, I save a lot of money. I am able to detect and address lots of car issues by myself.
I am really satisfied with the purchase of this product.

Would recommend this unit I have lots of older cars and trucks it worked great on all of them we have a small business and work on our own fleet it told me the electrical draw on the window motor on my 2000 devil trans data on 1999 F350 abs brake sensor on my 2007 GMC Acadia

I am a DIY'er, and I love this tool. This tool can read trouble codes from the engine, abs, transmission, srs, and many other modules in your vehicle. It is loaded with many special features like the oil light reset, TPMS relearn, abs brake bleeding, etc. I really like the live data feature. It can be really helpful in diagnosing problems. You can also graph the live data, which is a nice touch. You can save vehicle data and print it. The display is good (clear and responsive). You can connect it to the internet. With internet access, you can access many automotive repair sites like Mitchell 1 and Alldata through the "Quick links" app (most of them require subscriptions). You also have the MaxiFix app as a forum for automotive repair tips. The tool comes with 1 year of free updates and is updated wirelessly. It is a great scan tool and I highly recommend it for people who like doing their own auto repair work.

I am a professional mechanic (writing this on my wife's account). This may be one of the best scanners in this price range and it supports vehicles that many scanners do not such as Volvo. It supports a wide range of modules that can be scanned for codes as well as the ability to display values and sensor data for the specific module scanned. It isn't the fastest to scan and connect but it is faster than many and the functionality is worth the few seconds wait. If your looking for a true bidirectional scanner this should not be your choice but if you just need data for testing or maintenance procedures this is invaluable. The key coding seems to be very spotty and may only support BMW and Mercedes so don't expect this to be able to code all the new keys your shop needs done or anything. VIN recognition isn't 100% on this so you may be entering in-vehicle information on random vehicles. I haven't noticed any real pattern for this and sometimes it won't recognize VINs for vehicles it did previously that day but it may after a few tries. I don't like that if a module doesn't connect or return a signal and that module exists on the vehicle, it won't explicitly tell you this, which may cause misdiagnosis for some less experienced techs. Updates to the software are incredibly easy and relatively fast.

This scanner is really worth the money as opposed to paying an outrageous amount for a snap on scanner this is top notch

I brought this after watching a few YouTube videos, I work on my own car and van, and lately, have been having issues with the pair of them, I found this scanner to be very intuitive / easy to use. It scans the van so much deeper than my Carista dongle and has a great feature that you can link onto your phone's WiFi hotspot, once it has found a fault code you can hit the search button and it will take you to relevant pages regarding that fault code. Saves so much time. You can also use it for searching the web, put other apps on it. It has a decent little carry case.

Like many of you, I rarely leave reviews. This product, however, warrants it. Whether you use it on one or multiple vehicles, it will still pay for itself quickly.

The bottom line: It is well worth the money and has many uses if you are DIY oriented. It will save you hundreds of $$$ immediately.
