I was debating getting the cheaper one or pay extra for the screen. The bigger screen makes it easier to maneuver and more importantly, a lot of the codes are explained on the screen, which will help you understand right away, instead of looking them up. This already payed for itself by going to the mechanics, auto-shop, or even the dealer. Especially if you just need to change your air-filter or tighten your gas cap. My car tends to trigger the airflow constantly, despite the cleaning after cleaning, and over 100k miles driven. Great tool for such a reasonable price.

Tried in my husbands 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser. He didn’t have a check engine light yet, just testing it out. Bought this for the future when an issue arises. But the screen was bright and clear, easy to read. All that had to be done was plugging it in, very simple to use. There we’re options to read the code, and to delete the code. Extremely user friendly for those that might have never used one of these readers before. This is an Extremely good product.

Very Reliable OBD2 Sanner

It was easy to plug it into the port that fit my mustang. It read the codes and it was easy to read. It told me what the problem was and I was able to narrow down the problem much easier than the dang clairvoyant that I had hired.... Okay, so I didn't hire one, but that's what I felt like doing, as I have never worked on a mustang or any other vehicles engine before.

The MaxiScan MS309 OBD2?EOBD has been great but I have scroll the contrast all the way out accidently and now I can't see anything on the screen. How do I return or reset this contrast?

Have no idea if its any good I don't know how to change the language to English
