The OTOFIX IM2 with XP1 is a fantastic tool to add for any mechanic. Not only can the IM2 perform as a bi-directional diagnostic scanner, it also has IMMO key programming capabilities! It is a diagnostic tool from Autel, so the setup and navigation is very similar to the Autel product line. This tool has Autel IM608 II capabilities, but also includes a 2 year subscription for less cost!

I've used several scanners, as an automotive tech, from all brands across the board. This ottofix does the same thing plus a lot more than the Matco or Snap-on scanner we have here at work. Plus wayyyy cheaper. The scan tool is very light and easy to hold while using it.
It comes with 2 year sub included which is nice. The wireless connection lets me scan the car while I'm in the front with the scanner testing sensors. The bidirectional controls are awesome lets me check windows fans and actuators with a click of a button. I tried to program a key once and there is a guided function which makes it a breeze added extra keys to cars. I don't have anything negative to say about this scanner. It's done everything I need it to do in a professional automotive environment
