This Auto repair scanner is, in my opinion, does an exceptional job and after all the updates, is lightening fast! The case not only has space for your scanner, but even more room for a nice size Borescope too. All you have to do with the latter is plug and play then open the App. I highly recommend this tool from a DIY to an expert mechanic.

I've owned my Autel MK808Z for about 4 months now, and it has assisted my with all my vehicles week in, week out. Its versatility and numerous options and capabilities touch across so many different areas when it comes to vehicle repair and diagnosis. From engine, to brakes, to transmission, steering, and much much more. I'm a car guy...love my cars. I own over 22 vehicles, and keeping them and tip top shape is not a small order. But with the help of my MK808S, it gives me the ability to stay on top of all my regular maintenance and solve any emergency when it arises. I could not imagine working on my cars without it.

MK808s has saved me thousands within my first use. I bought San-Tool this yr 2023 no more getting ripped off by the dealership for things I can do myself. Even if you're not a DIY person you well at least be able to tell the dealership not only the codes but how to do the job, the dealerships take advantage of anyone who goes in for service with the check engine light on saying, I have no idea whats wrong, I bought this scanner after a good friend told me to stop trusting your service advisor at the dealership. He only tells you customers states, then he rips you off so he can make his commission . well those days are long over for me I've never worked on any type of emissions sys, well this scan- tool not only gave me the codes but allowed me to search right on the scanner helping to find the OEM parts I needed, that can be found right here on amazon and very easy to install for the most part. So easy yet the dealerships charges insane prices for the same thing one can do themselves . The dealerships never will tell you and surely would never show you just how easy some of these fixes are. you'll feel so good kwoing you not only found the fault but you were able to clean area before placing the new part in place, something the dealership would never do.. No more guessing what's wrong with any of my 5 vehicels ever again, once any dealership knows you're the type that keeps up with all the your required repairs and or maintenance they'll always seem to find problems even if it's only a routine oil change.. Note not all service advisor are dishonest people, a very well known dealerships service advisor in my town was the one who told me to get a very nice scanner and put a stop on being ripped off. So after months of doing my research I selected (Autel Scanner MaxiCOM MK808S) this scanner here is way more then i'll ever need, however what I love about this scanner is it's for the basic mechanic on to the very experience mechanic like myself, now I can do minor repairs or the more complex repairs, either way that'll be my choice and not the dealership anymore. Yes you only get one year of free updates for me it still wasn't any brainer this scanner is way better than matco and snap-on by far!!! My only Con is towards myself, when I asked myself what took me so damn long to stop being ripped off and getting a scanner that does so much that it pays for whatever spent just on the first. All I had to do was calculate the cost of parts over the cost of labor and this scan-tool gave me not just my money back but I also dont have the worry about the check engine light coming on, Plus my vehicle passed the state inspection that's still required here in Texas with no faults found. This scanner not only shows you the codes and faults but I personally never gave it a 2nd thought on how a emissions sys works and all the realted components, so not only did this scanner help me fix the problem, it educated me on how the emissions sys works.)

I am an automotive hobbyist and I find this to be extremely user friendly and no way intimidating. I'm at a point that I seek opportunities to use it. Love it!!

This will do the fuel sync on older Dodge rams.
Discovered that fact today.
Also allowed me to check and reset some items that occurred last winter when it was -20 below in my 2015 silverado.
Reset an air bag lite in it too. Paid the dealer to do it and so that's why I had to with this.
Hooked it to my 09 Pontiac and looked stuff over on it.
So far I am pleased with everything except the cord, the goofy recharge port, and I managed to leave it on.

This scanner is amazing in what it can do. I have used it on three different brands of vehicles and have been able to figure out what is going on very easy. I am not an auto mechanic, but this is my 3rd scanner purchase and I wish I would have discovered this one first. My other two have been difficult to use and have not had the capabilities to look at so many vehicles. Would recommend to any mechanic working out of a shop or the home vehicle hobbyist!

I bought this and updated the unit as described in instruction before I used it . Then after updating i tried to use unit. it found my car and then could not get a connection to car . The service from Autel was terrific , very responsive and very helpful , I am not a mechanic and they fixed my issue.

Bought this in the hopes of programming a couple of key fobs I bought off of ebay for a 2017 Subaru Forester XT Touring with push button start. The MK808s work amazingly and was extremely responsive. After letting it update to the latest 2023 software, this tool was ready to go. Just follow the devices prompts and registering new keys can be done it a couple minutes. Highly recommended! Would definitely update or buy from Autel again.

As an avid car enthusiasts, this is one of the best tools I've ever used. I owned some of the higher end model purchased from various tool trucks and for the money this is hands down the best bang for your buck. I love the 2 way communication and how user friend this unit is. The number of car manufacturers that are compatible with this are great as well. I highly recommend this tool to anyone in a shop or a do it yourselfer that wants to have a quality product for a great price.
