I had the 708 and sold it to buy this one. The 808 is fabulous compared to the 708. I like the layout and the functions are easier to navigate.

Received the tool right on time. This was the first time I had used a scan tool like this. It is very easy to use. I was able to read an engine light code and an airbag light code. I'm very happy with this scan tool and look forward to using it more and more.

Autel is really good about updating their tools. It’s a tool that you need to check for updates like once a week, because as soon as Autel comes up with solutions, they put them on the internet for you.. I also like the ability to remotely log in for support from Autel, or when I need to assist one of his technicians. the tool’s ability to Smart AutoVIN technology for identifying vehicle easily, as well as keep a history of vehicles scanned, even after disconnecting from vehicles is one of the most beneficial functions this tool offers.

Handles MOST (but not all) work on the import brands I work on, revealing proprietary DTCs, live data, and component activation..

On some makes, it will do adaptations and registration of components, while on others it won't, but overall for the price, it's an outstanding scantool.

TOOL IS WAY ABOVE WHAT I EXPECTED. PLUS I HAD THE MaxiSys Pro which was stolen from my shop and i didn't want to spend another 3k for that one so i went with this and I'm very impressed

Has paid for itself already. Covers all the major makes and goes deep for diagnosis and testing. Bi-directional control ability pays for itself.
